Privacy policy
This policy explains what information Tropical Run - Blue Lagoon (the "game") and this website collect, why, who we share it with and the choices you have. The game and website are made by Novica Vukobratovic, an independent developer in Serbia trading as Crazy Bard Games ("we", "us"), who is the controller responsible for your data. Questions: novicavukobratovic@gmail.com.
1. What we collect and why
| Data | Why | Who processes it |
|---|---|---|
| Anonymous player ID created on first launch | To identify your save and leaderboard entries without a login | Unity Authentication |
| Game progress: coins, gems, heroes, outfits, hats, pets, goals, settings | Cloud save, so progress survives a reinstall or a new phone | Unity Cloud Save |
| A player name shown on the leaderboards, and your best distance | Weekly and all-time leaderboards visible to other players | Unity Leaderboards |
| Google Play Games ID (only if you choose to link it) | To sign in on another device and keep the same progress | Google Play Games Services, Unity Authentication |
| Purchase records: product, order ID, purchase token | To deliver and restore what you bought | Google Play Billing. We never see your card or payment details. |
| Advertising ID, device and network information, IP address, ad interactions | To show a rewarded ad when you ask for one, measure it and prevent fraud; and, only with your consent where required, to personalise ads | Unity LevelPlay (ironSource) and its ad network partners |
| Technical data: device model, OS version, app version, IP address | To run the online services above securely and fix problems | Unity, Google |
| Emails you send us | To answer support and deletion requests | Us, via our email provider |
We do not collect your precise location, contacts, photos, microphone or camera, and we do not sell your personal information.
2. Ads and your choices
- The game shows rewarded ads only, and only when you tap a button to get a reward (for example a revive or double coins). There are no banner ads and no ads that interrupt a run.
- If you are in the EU, EEA, UK or Switzerland, the game asks on first launch whether you allow personalised ads, before any ad loads. If you decline, you may still get non-personalised ads when you choose to watch one.
- You can change this at any time in Settings > Privacy in the game.
- On Android you can reset or delete your advertising ID in your phone's settings (Settings > Google > Ads, or Settings > Privacy > Ads).
- The No Ads purchase gives you the rewards without watching ads.
3. Legal bases (EU/UK users)
- Contract: running the game you asked to play, including cloud save, leaderboards, purchases and showing a rewarded ad you requested.
- Consent: personalised advertising. You can withdraw it at any time in Settings > Privacy.
- Legitimate interests: keeping the game secure, preventing cheating and fraud, and fixing bugs.
- Legal obligation: keeping purchase records where tax law requires it.
4. Service providers
We use these companies to run the game. Each processes data under its own privacy policy:
- Unity Technologies (Authentication, Cloud Save, Leaderboards, LevelPlay / ironSource ads): unity.com/legal/privacy-policy
- Google (Google Play, Play Billing, Play Games Services): policies.google.com/privacy
These providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States. Where required, transfers are protected by the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or an equivalent safeguard.
5. How long we keep data
- Your player account, cloud save and leaderboard entries are kept until you delete your account.
- Support emails are kept for up to 2 years after the conversation ends.
- Purchase records are kept by Google Play under its own retention rules.
6. Deleting your data
Delete your account in the game under Settings > Account > Delete account, or by email. Full steps: crazybardgames.com/delete-account.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR, UK GDPR or California law), you can ask to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your data, object to or restrict its processing, and withdraw consent. Email novicavukobratovic@gmail.com with your leaderboard name, or the Google Play account email if you linked Google Play Games. You can also complain to your local data protection authority, or in Serbia to the Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Personal Data Protection (poverenik.rs).
8. Children
The game is intended for players aged 13 and over and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has used the game, contact us and we will delete the data.
9. Security
Data is sent over encrypted connections and stored by our providers with industry-standard safeguards. No system is perfectly secure, but we keep the data we hold to the minimum the game needs.
10. This website
crazybardgames.com uses no cookies, analytics or trackers and loads nothing from third parties. Our web host keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser, pages requested) for security, which are deleted after a short period.
11. Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. Significant changes will be shown in the game.
